‘Home Alone 2: Lost In New York’ was released in Nov. 1992, two years after the original ‘Home Alone’ premiered just in time for Christmas! Macaulay Culkin returned as Kevin McCallister for the sequel. The movie also starred Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, Tim Curry, Brenda Fricker, and Catherine O’Hara.
The movie follows Kevin and his family as they decide to take a trip to Florida. When Kevin accidentally boards the wrong plane, he ends up in New York City. Kevin uses his father’s credit card to stay at the Plaza Hotel and is later confronted by the Wet Bandits. The sequel is full of fun and adventure. ‘Home Alone 2: Lost In New York’ was followed by the third film in the franchise, ‘Home Alone 3.’ Macaulay and the rest of the original cast did not return for the third film.
