Kent residents fed-up of seedy sex festivals as naturist club welcomes yet MORE swingers to leafy ar

FED-UP residents in Kent have raised concerns over seedy sex festivals as a naturist club welcomes yet MORE swingers to the leafy area.

Homeowners claim revellers have knocked on their doors late at night looking in search of the lewd parties while blocking the narrow roads with their cars.

The Eureka private members' club, which has 2,000 members, holds soirees every weekend in the tiny village of Fawkham.

Concerns over the events have been highlighted after a middle-aged man died at a kinky sex festival in nearby Royal Tunbridge Wells last weekend.

Police said they are not treating his death as suspicious after he was found in a tent with an unconscious woman at £600-a-head Flamefest.

However, that festival was small in comparison to the carnival-themed fancy dress Eureaka Sun Club event, held this weekend.

Paul Blacker, a former parish councillor who lives next to Eureka, told the Sunday Times: "You have people knocking on your door at 8pm, trying to find the club.

"It's not in a suitable place and should not have been given a licence."

Local resident Anna Turner-Bee told the newspaper that there had been a history of problems around the site, including noise and increased traffic on narrow roads.
She said she has the event has been given a series of temporary events licences with out residents being notified and she has complained to Sevenoaks district council.

The club, set on 23 acres of grounds, was granted an entertainments licence in 2012 for an indefinite period - meaning residents have had no opportunity to lodge further formal objections.

Club owner Mike Davies insisted his party events were "well run" and said he didn't consider them "sex parties".

He said said the club, which has an outdoor heated swimming pool, had always attracted swingers and had not significantly changed since it first opened in 1974.

Mr Davies said he had offered use of the club's pool to the local school when it's not being used but had been turned down.

Eureka, known as the "sun club" with "gold" membership costing £400, only allows over-18s, and mobile phones and computers are banned.

Sevenoaks council confirmed that there were initial objections to the Eureka's entertainment licence, but it had not since received complaints.
