THREE million Mercedes diesel models across Europe will be recalled in a bid to slash toxic gases.
The €220million (£196m) voluntary recall will see drivers required to take their models to a dealer for a software update to cut nitrogen oxide emissions.
Mercedes has not announced how many UK cars are affected but some experts have claimed it could be as many as 300,000.
The recall applies to nearly all Euro 5 and Euro 6 vehicles including anything from the compact A-Class up to luxury execs like the E-Class. Read More...
